Ralph Nathaniel Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes (nascut pe 22 decembrie 1962) este un actor britanic castigator al premiilor Tony, BAFTA, si dublu nominalizat la Premiile Oscar.

Fiennes s-a nascut in Ipswich, Suffolk, Anglia, fiind fiul lui Mark Fiennes (1933-2004), fermier si fotograf, si al lui Jennifer Lash (1938-1993), scriitoare. Numele lui este de origine normanda, si Ralph este al treilea var al aventurierului Sir Ranulph Fiennes.

Cel mai mare din cei sase copii, fratii sai sunt actorul Joseph Fiennes ("Shakespeare in Love", "Luther"), Martha Fiennes, regizoare, Magnus Fiennes, compozitor, Sophie Fiennes, producator de film, Jacob Fiennes, un conservator, si Michael Emery, arheolog (si fratele sau vitreg).

Familia Fiennes s-a mutat in Irlanda in 1973, traind in West Cork si in County Kilkenny pentru cativa ani, unde actorul a frecventat colegiul Saint Kieran pentru un an. Ei s-au mutat ulterior la Salisbury, in Anglia, unde Fiennes si-a terminat studiile la Scoala Bishop Wordsworth inainte sa intre la Colegiul de Arta Chelsea.
